Photo booths are a must at any party may it be wedding, birthday party or baby shower. It's a great way to capture memories with friends and family and a fun activity for all.
I was recently tasked with putting on a baby shower for my sister with a theme of "Shabby Chic". We had done photo booths in the past with streamer backdrops and then posting the pictures on Instagram. I however, wanted to try something different and also keep with the overall theme. I decided on using a polaroid camera, fun "Shabby Chic" props like faux furs and a chalkboard fabric backdrop.
The chalkboard fabric backdrop I purchased here. When buying it I made sure it was long enough to fill up the whole background. I then freehand sketched with chalk the scene you see in the above photos (Note: I am not an artist :)). Once we were all finished we hung the fabric up on a blank wall space.
The polaroid camera's film had different colored frames for each picture. Once the pictures had fully processed we had each guest write a message to mommy and baby on the bottom.
I think the props were the best part! We had old faux fur coats, 60's glasses, feather boas, floppy hats, hand held signs and even flapper headbands. Happy photo boothing!
